I just posted some slash art / poetry to a group. I've been reading and admiring the stuff for years, so I guess it's about time I contributed something. But I didn't even set out to do that...it just just kind of happened, which is fine. Nothing was forced, and maybe that's how it should be. I had to look at the group rules, and figure out how to post everything. I'm not that savy with stuff like that, but it seemed to come off ok. I hope people dig it. There's this Smallville slash artist, that I contacted years ago to express how amazing their artwork was. That was at least a year before I even watched the show. That artist, she created a manip based on one of my poems, which really flattered me. The picture was really graphic because they knew that was my favorite type. I love slash art in general, but the hardcore ones are just awesome ;-0) Anyways, now I'm the one posting art and poetry and I feel like things haven't gone full circle, but I've crossed some kind of line and I'm kind of jazzed about the whole thing. Cool. The poetry & artwork were inspired by the pairing of Bobby "Iceman" Drake & John "Pyro" Allerdyce from the X-Men comics & movies. I posted them in a group dedicated to that pairing that can be found here: http://community.livejournal.com/dry_ice/
